Doesn't feel like December!

Dectwilight_1This
just seems weird! I have to keep looking at the calendar to remember
what month it is. Yes, we have some Christmas lights up at the
apartment, and the decorations and lovely (?) music in stores
verifies that we are, in fact, in the middle of the winter holidays.
Hanukkah has begun, Christmas is in a couple of weeks, I'm wearing
shorts and a t-shirt with the windows wide open at 9pm ....yup,
everything seems normal...NOT! Our first "winter" in Florida is rather
surreal. It was over 80F today, we still run the air conditioning at
times, and it is hard to feel like the winter solstice is the week
after next.

This is very strange. Not that I'm complaining, mind you!

Happy Hannukah, y'all.

With more snow and rain today here in Montreal, a job watching the gates on the Disney monorail feels like an excellent career move!

Yeah -- the walk uphill from Place des Arts was a killer this morning. We'd wish you a white Christmas, Joe, but you people have already had enough rotten weather this year.
