Life needs color

ColorbathWe
hate white walls. White walls are bland, blasse, lifeless, listless,
lazy, and lackluster. We prefer to think we are none of those.
Annnnnndddd...if you're gonna cut loose a little in a room, a bathroom
is just a wide open canvas, 'cause it's not like you're gonna be
looking at everything in there all the time (barring dysenteric
calamity, of course). So clicking on the thumbnail image at the left
will pop up a larger pic of our pool bath (meaning, of our 2 bathrooms,
it's the one with a door opening onto the lanai/pool area). My only contribution to the decor was participating in the choice of color and the selection of fish for the wall; the credit for the actual work all goes to Shirley. To us, this
is a color scheme that is happy and full of life...and very Florida :-)

So it'd be safe to assume the feng shui phase of your life is over now? :-)

Duffbert, you ignorant slut :-) ...No, the feng shui phase is not over. What about the pool bath seems disharmonious to you? We think that things in this bathroom flow quite well.

I'm sure the fact that half the fish on the curtain are facing the wall will cause a blockage of energy flow in that room, which is one of the LAST places you want a blockage of any kind. :-)

Speaking as someone who is both color-blind and aesthetically-challenged, I think it looks right nice. Uh oh!

And, while I have your attention, Happy Birthday (Monday), Duffbert!

Thank you, Barry. I'm impressed you remember that!

Ah, it's just like old times, hanging out with you two guys. All we'd need to make the scene complete is some Turkish coffee, and an Excel file promising fabulous wealth (actually, I still have one - thinking of putting it on eBay)!

Gosh, Barry, I was just thinking yesterday how much I enjoyed sitting having a Turkish coffee outside the Hush Hush, looking out at the Columbia and planning the 'retirement' bash in Poipu. Sigh :)

Maybe we can get jobs washing dishes at Brenneke's.

Ohhhhh....I LIKE that! Our budget is pretty much destroyed for this year with what we're spending on hurricane prep ...but I am gonna save the link ...Replacing the bland and boring tile with some ZING and POP would be cool!
