Has it already been 25 years?!?

Today is our 25th wedding anniversary! Wow!! I just can't believe this much time has already gone by. I love you Shirley; thanks for still laughing at my dumb jokes (most of the time, anyway). More posted at my other site.

25 years together is wonderful; too bad there aren't more folks that haven't ever and won't every figure that out. Some of 'em think 25 months (let alone 25 days) could be an eternity; for us 25 years isn't even a measurable amount of time it goes so damn fast.
We just turned 23 a few days back, not including the 6 1/2 years it took L. to get used to me. You may remember being at our wedding, not quite as hip as yours, but outdoors (during an El Nino summer). We still have and still use the kitchen knife and block set you gave us then. Ain't that amazing???
You'd think that if something as brainless as kitchen knives could last that long, marriages could also.
